This is a turn based strategy game where you need to conquer and dominate the world which is made up of square tiles

The Battle of Polytopia is simple, each tile is divided into four parts, the north, south, east and west. You can assign your troops to one of these sections and then move them around the map. Once you have moved all of your troops onto a tile you will gain control over that tile and it will be added to your empire.

You start off in one corner of the map with a single unit, however as you progress through the levels more units will become available for you to recruit. Some units are stronger than others so make sure you know which ones are best suited for the task at hand before sending them into battle!

You start off with a single city and have to expand your territory across the entire map

As you conquer new lands, you’ll unlock new resources and strategic locations that will help you dominate your rivals.

The world is made up of square tiles, each representing one territory. Every tile has its own unique terrain type—from grassland to desert, forest to tundra—and most of them also have access points which allow troops and trade caravans to pass through without being attacked by enemies on the other side. Tiles are connected by rivers or mountain ranges that act as barriers for movement between adjacent areas; however, cities have special abilities which allow them (and their allies) access through these otherwise impassable obstacles!

The goal is to destroy the others on the map

There are various winning strategies available. You can win by destroying all other tribes, or by building a Wonder. If you’re playing in Classic mode, you must destroy all other tribes to win—but if you’re playing in Sandbox mode, it’s possible to achieve victory without fighting at all!

Each turn, you get Action Points (AP) which determines how many actions you can perform each turn

Each city provides one action point per population point in the city. You also get 2 points for every food resource you have and 4 points for each technology that has been researched. This means that if you are building cities close to resources, it will give you more AP than those further away.

You can research new technologies, grow crops, chop trees, hunt for food, and of course attack others

You can research new technologies, grow crops, chop trees, hunt for food and of course attack others. There are also five different types of terrain: forests, plains, mountains and deserts. These affect the types of buildings you can build or even which resources are available in that area. For example if you have a forest near the edge of your map it will be difficult to expand because there won’t be much room for farms or other types of buildings.

In addition to building units you can use to defend yourself against attacks, there’s also a diplomacy feature where you can trade with other civilizations who are willing to deal with someone as evil as you (the player). You can also find allies by sending diplomats around the world who may have an interest in joining forces with someone as terrible as yourself!

The Battle of Polytopia - Conquer Enemies

There are 4 types of troops that you can create – warriors, archers, scouts, and spearsmen

You can create new units by building a barracks, and upgrade them when you research new technologies. Each unit has different stats such as health and attack strength, as well as different movement ranges and attack types. Warriors are strong melee attackers that are best against other warriors; archers have long-range attacks but cannot move while attacking; scouts have long-range attacks but cannot attack at close range; spearsmen are strong against other infantry units, but weak against cavalry units.

There’s also a mythic unit called the musketeer that replaces one of these units depending on what tribe you’ve chosen

The musketeer is a special unit available to some tribes. It replaces one of your other units, but it’s also much stronger than that unit. The musketeer is only available if you have chosen a tribe with the technology for them (you’ll see an icon over their head).

Each tribe has a different mythic unit but they all retain similar stats

Each tribe has a different mythic unit but they all retain similar stats. The Aztecs have the Jaguar Warrior, who has a high attack and health but poor defense. The Buccaneers have the Puma Warrior, who is balanced in all areas but slightly lower than average on attack and speed. The Chinese have the Red Guard, who is very fast and has very high health while also doing decent damage per second (DPS) at close range attacks.

The Battle of Polytopia is a quick game that would be fun to play

This is a quick game that would be fun to play when you have an hour or two and don’t mind taking some time thinking about your next move. The Battle of Polytopia is easy to learn, and once you get into it, there’s enough strategy involved to keep things interesting. This will appeal to people who like turn based strategy games as well as casual players looking for something lighter. You can play a few rounds in a short period of time and can play The Battle of Polytopia anywhere—just make sure not to give any strategic advice while playing against others!

It would also be great for people who like turn-based games but don’t have the patience or desire for longer sessions.
