Introduction about Stardew Valley MOD
Stardew Valley MOD is a game about farming, exploration, and the people who populate a rural town. You have inherited your grandfather’s old Stardew Valley farmland. You go out to start your new life with some used tools and a few coins.
You’ll need to clear the land, plant crops, grow them with care, and maintain friendships as you learn to live off the land. There are many aspects of farming from planting to watering to collecting items from your barn. The game’s open world is expansive and has plenty of places to explore.
How to play Stardew Valley (Game Overview)
An open-ended role-playing game is Stardew Valley. You play as a character who inherits their grandfather’s farm and moves to the town of Stardew Valley. The game is set in a fantasy world where you can play as a male or female character, with the choice being yours. The main goal of the game is to make your grandfather’s farm thrive and earn money while completing quests that are given by NPCs (Non-Playable Characters).
While playing Stardew Valley, there are several things you need to do on each day:
- Go fishing (if you have access to it)
- Harvest crops (if they’re ready)
All of the quests in Stardew Valley are initiated by talking to a villager and then completing their request. You can start a quest by talking to an NPC, who will have an exclamation mark above their head indicating that they have something for you to do. Once you become friends with them, they’ll give you a quest in order to increase your friendship level (and possibly other things).
Once you’ve actually started the quest, there’s no need to worry about it until it’s completed—you’ll simply be notified when it’s done. When this happens, head back over to whoever gave you the quest and talk with them again; they’ll give thanks or reward you depending on how well done your job was.
Friends and marriage
There are several ways to make friends in Stardew Valley, and marrying one is one of the most fulfilling. You can marry any villager of the opposite gender after you have given them a bouquet of flowers on your first day in Pelican Town. After that, if you give them another gift and talk to them every day for a week, they’ll fall in love with you. To marry someone, however, they must ask if they could spend their life with you; if they do so then it’s just a matter of scheduling the wedding ceremony at Pelican Town’s chapel!
There are also several other ways to get married:
- If you upgrade Haley/Jas’s house when she asks for help (and bring her some booze), she’ll fall in love with you
- When Linus asks for help finding his dog Princess (and brings him some booze), he will fall in love with you
- Several villagers require friendship points before being eligible
Seasonal events are a big part of the Stardew Valley experience.
There are four seasons in Stardew Valley, and each one comes with its own set of events and activities:
- Spring: The first season begins on 1st of Spring and ends on 18th of Summer. During this time, you can plant crops, build fences around your animals’ pens, and find wild strawberries growing around Pelican Town.
- Summer: The second season begins on 19th of Summer and ends on 31st of Fall. This is when you’ll see your crops grow and harvest them for profit!
- Fall: The third season begins on 1st of Fall and ends on 24th of Winter. You’ll be able to gather pinecones from trees during this time period.
- Winter: The fourth season begins on 25th of Winter and lasts until 1st of Spring. During winter, you’ll have access to ice fishing locations so that you can catch fish without ever having to leave your house!
